Beginning on this date all "OK DX Members" are invited to enter into a Birthday Dx Contest.
1. Simply add the letters HB/1 After your call sign.
2. HQ needs only a copy of your log for all contacts made under the HB/1 call. (most of you already should have "OK DX" logbooks made for these events however if you would like a log sheet please let Andy know).
3. Members must be able to confirm contacts if requested from any 1 of the HQ team.
4. That’s all there is to it. Simply carry on dxing remember to log all contacts as they all count.

Broadcast on any frequency between 26.000-27.999 MHz using any mode AM/FM/SSB.
a) get 1 point for any contact logged
b) get 5 points for contact with OK station using the call HB/1 logged
c) get 10 points for contact with any of the Oscar kilo Magic Team logged
d) get 50 points for contact with who is a specially selected station or stations? You never know who that may be!! This must be logged!
Any member that can confirm he /she as worked all four of the ok hq magic team will receive extra points + surprise package
To verify your score, points obtained, and final position in the contest it is necessary to copy your log and send it along with a dated and signed summary sheet to the OK DX HQ in the United Kingdom. The Headquarters and the Magic Team will verify all final point standings to determine contest winners.
